Work
Where I've workedI'm teacher and teaching assistant for the Caribbean Science Foundation. I teach an introductory Web Development class as the main instructor to students of all ages. I also act as electronics teaching assistant to high-school students in the CSF's SPISE Program.
Backend engineer at CTX where I write primarily write in Python and JavaScript. CTX is small group of software engineers that design and implement IT solutions for small to medium companies.
Responsible for the timely and proper roll-out of new products to any of the Digicel Group business units as well as to provide 3rd line support to the in-country operations team with regards to all the deployed solutions in a specific market.
I work on developing an maintaining customer facing banking products that are provided by NCB Jamaica.
Letcurer of a final year course at UWI, Mona, that introduces students to the design and implementation principles of Internet of Things (IoT) systems.
Students work to become familiar with concepts that include Python (FastAPI, Flask), Ardiuno, ESP32, etc.
Primary function is to manage the computer lab. This includes maintaining all computers, ensuring the necessary software and hardware is available to students, coordinating tutorial and lab sessions and lecturing staff and providing assistance to students and lectures during lectures, tutorial and lab sessions.
Secondary function is to contribute to department projects. These are projects that involve research and development in areas such as physics, electronics, computing and climate modelling. Other duties involve lecturing, conducting tutorials and demonstrating lab exercises.
